RM Sealers
Ltd., recent winners of the 'Fresh Media Commitment to
Excellence Award' evolved as an offshoot of RM Tool
Company. RM Tool Company was established in 1969 and is
a member of the prestigious 'Engineering industries
Association'. They built a formidable reputation as high
quality Mechanical Engineers, offering facilities for
Design, Prototyping, Planning and Small Scale
Production. RM provided a comprehensive service for the
precision manufacturing of components and spare parts
for both commercial and government needs. As part of
their work they began producing full sets of mechanical
parts for bag sealing machines. This lead to the
realization that they could produce an efficient and
cost effective machine of their own, and thus set up a
branch of the company devoted entirely to making bag
sealing machines. This branch stands successfully today
in its own right as RM Sealers.
A range of Impulse Sealers was launched in 2005, aimed
at the smaller user. These bag sealers are ideal for
many applications and are capable of sealing most types
of heat sealable materials and are designed for ease of
use and low maintenance. They are available as bench top
or pedestal models, both foot operated thus leaving both
hands free to feed the product.
The company continues to grow and expand its client base
across the globe in the US and Europe; and in the past
month to Iceland. Two of our first customers for the new
impulse sealers have ordered further machines - a
commendation in itself. We are looking forward to
greater successes in 2006!
We introduced our new product
range of Impulse Sealers (also known as clamp or bar
sealers), aimed at the smaller end of the packaging
market in 2005. These
machines are ideal
for many applications and are capable of sealing all
types of heat sealable materials. They are designed for
ease of use and low maintenance and can be supplied as
bench top or pedestal mounted models. Both are foot operated thus leaving hands free to feed
the product.
There is the option of operating manually or automatically,
with 300mm, 450mm and
600mm bag sealing widths.
These machines will cope with most sizes of bags from
those containing small components to the larger sacks.
A hot foil printer is also offered as an option, either
attached to the machine or as a standalone unit. This
would be suitable for those products requiring specific
information such as date, shelf life, or batch numbers,
to be added to the packaging in one or two lines of
print.
Solenoid operation of the seal bar provides safety of
operation. If the product or fingers, rather than the
bag, are placed between the sealing bars the machine
will automatically release, with no heat switched on,
and then return to standby mode. |
